  1. Follow up your study on bats and birds by having your students build a bat or bird house. 

  2. Compare and contrast their similarities and differences (bats fly, birds fly…what else?).

  3. Hold a class discussion about habitats, and homes. 

  4. Have students compare a bat or bird’s home to their own.
